Hi Jessica, The min cost is based on Entertainment with a Foxtel iQHD and includes $75 standard install fee and $75 equipment fee. Residential subscribers and standard install only. Cancel fee applies. Foxtel and some services not available to all homes.

The $25 does not include the install fee of $75

Why is this offer made avail to new subscribers when we have been customers for over 10 years and have to pay $74 per month

with $450 minimum cost it says includes $75 standard install fee and $75 equipment fee…now when I tried to fill up for the online application, here comes the fee of $75 one off installation fee and $75 equipment fee…why can they just go straight to point that I have to pay extra total of $150 for an installation & equipment fee plus a $25 one month advance?..Why hiding the extra cost?

    • CompareTV December 30, 2014 at 10:04 am

Hi Trece, Agree it may not be as clear as it could be on their side but it is mentioned in their Terms and Conditions. Same thing happens in a lot of industries where the company communicates the best sounding price within their legal requirements, Telcos, Airlines etc. Thanks for your comment though important to know.

Can you tell me what connections Foxtel needs to the TV? We only have component and composite. Is it possible to do this deal through Telstra?

    • CompareTV June 12, 2015 at 1:53 pm

Hi Sue, Foxtel does work with Component cables and yes. Unfortunately the no contract deal is unavailable via Telstra at this stage sorry

Hi I am a senior, just turned 65 and would like to get Foxtel. I have read lots of stuff on the net, but still don’t understand much. I want a package that all I need is a dish on the roof, I don’t have a land line and don’t want one, I want a movies package, some sport and a discovery or National Geographic type channel. I sort of want to pay around $80 / $100 a month no more, obviously I will need to pay connection fees etc. I want to get in on the deal going at the moment that runs out at the end of June, and get the best Seniors discount you can offer me. Can you email something to me in plain English, as I get sick of talking to Asian people on the phone that don’t Speke clear English and I can’t understand them, no offence meant, but that’s what happens. I want to get a deal going as soon as I can settle on a package. Look forward rad to hearing from some one. Can you let me know how I can get world movies in the package please and the extra cost. Thank you. I live at Hayborough in South Australia.

    Kind regards John

Hi John, there are a few options but it sounds like the Entertainment Pack plus Sport and Movies would suit you best. This would cost around $70 a month so less than your budget, if you call 1300 760 579 you can chat through it with a helpful Melbournian who you will be able to understand. 🙂

I currently have Foxtel platinum through a Telstra bundle. As we are ditching our landline I need to know how best to have a similar service . We have 2 iq boxes and pay extra for 2nd room. I need to be able to continue in 2 rooms but would like to give my daughter the chance to watch in her own room on her Mac. Can you give me your recommendation please

    • CompareTV July 7, 2015 at 7:03 pm

      Hi Paula

Foxtel Go will enable your daughter to watch the channels you are subscribed to on her Mac, this comes as part of your Platinum subscription, if you call Foxtel on 1300 760 579 they will be able to advise ho to set this up and cancel the bundled landline from Telstra. Thanks
