You can then choose from three streaming tiers to watch the latest movies and BINGE series on demand. A Basic subscription with Ads allows you to stream on one device.

A Standard Plan enables you to enjoy your favourite shows or movies on two devices. A Premium Plan lets you stream on four simultaneously. Both Standard and Premium also offer 4K streaming on selected content. All BINGE plans have no lock-in contract.

Another option for watching The Twelve Season 2 is Foxtel, airing every episode on Showcase. More than trending comedies, Foxtel also offers live TV with sports streaming, the world’s best dramas, and movie channels for watching blockbusters.

Showcase, the channel that airs new The Twelve episodes, is part of Foxtel Plus, the cheapest Foxtel entertainment package that already includes the previously separate Kids and Favourites packs, increasing the channels offered to over 70. What’s more, all Foxtel bundles now include the Multiscreen feature.

If you’re only after a streaming app rather than a pay TV service, all episodes are also going to be on Foxtel Now, which you can try with a free 10-day trial if signing up for the first time.

The Foxtel Now base pack called Essentials pack is only $25 per month. Premium packs like Drama Extra, Sport, and Movies can be added to your base plan if you’re looking to access more content.

The crime genre often provides narratives that focus on mysteries surrounding a case and the authorities tasked with deciphering them. Their plots also centre on a victim’s or a suspect’s ordeal, or the lawyers fighting tooth and nail that we often forget about the civilians who get to witness everything up close.

These civilians lead ordinary lives until a traumatising crime they’re obliged to process leaves them scathed, their lives changed forever. The Twelve, as per the title, follows 12 Australians selected for jury duty. As soon as they become members of the jury, they are catapulted into a world of tragedy, deceit, and trauma from having to witness and absorb a high profile murder trial.

Here’s the official synopsis for The Twelve Season 2:

“The Twelve comes to Western Australia, to the rural township of Tunkwell – a world away from the urban city landscapes of Season One. When local landowner and respected town matriarch, Bernice Price (Kris McQuade), is found dead at the bottom of her farm’s pump well, two ex-lovers stand accused of her murder. Twelve ordinary citizens from diverse backgrounds have been plucked from the township and its surrounds to decide the fate of the co-accused – was Bernice the victim of a crime of passion, a workplace accident or just misfortune?”

What was the plot of The Twelve Season 1?

In the first season, 12 Australians were chosen as jury members when artist Kate Lawson (Kate Mulvany) was accused of killing her 14-year-old niece, Claire Spears. The teen’s father, Nathan Spears, painted Kate as a sexual predator who exploited and groomed Claire until her death.

Nathan Spears’ involvement only muddled the case that was already laced with secrets and betrayals. When Nathan lied under oath, an enraged Kate insisted to testify despite his lawyer Brett Colby (Sam Neill) advising not to. As she stood accused of killing a child and her own blood, the crime was taken on through the lens of the jurors. When the Crown called Claire’s best friend Amita to testify, the trial got excruciatingly more complex, deeply impacting the jurors whose personal lives were already going downhill.

Australia’s adaptation of the Belgian series De Twaalf, The Twelve was co-written by Wentworth and High Country’s Leah Purcell.
