MotoGP Live Streaming

When it comes to racing on two wheels nothing quite comes close to MotoGP. It’s the premier motorcycle class in the world and features some of the most talented riders on the planet. There are several ways to stream every practice, qualifying session and Grand Prix from every circuit on the calendar, Live or On Demand. You can even watch Moto2 and Moto3 action. Here we are going to break down all the options for Aussie bike fans.

What’s In The Guide

Streaming MotoGP in Australia

The MotoGP World Championship runs from March until November at some elite circuits from Europe and the Middle East to South America and Asia. Long-established tracks like Assen, Jerez and Silverstone sit side-by-side with modern circuits like Losail and Circuit de Algarve.

On the track, MotoGP is going through a changing of the guard, with a whole heap of riders bursting through the ranks straight onto the podium. The likes of Fabio Quartararo, Maverick Viñales and our very own Jack Miller are starting a new era of dominance. But the likes of Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi still have what it takes to push them all the way to the chequered flag.

There are several ways to watch and stream MotoGP across the 2021 season, whether you like watching in front of your home TV or with a mobile device when out and about. All of these sports streaming options are practical, offer great value and even come with some handy free trials!

How to watch MotoGP in Australia

MotoGP is available to watch in Australia via Fox Sports and Channel 10. Fox Sports channels can be accessed via Foxtel, Foxtel Now, Foxtel from Telstra and Kayo Sports.

With these sports streaming options, you can subscribe to long-term or short-term contracts, whatever works for you. You can even get limited access to full MotoGP race weekends on Fox Sports without paying a cent. Find out everything you need to know below.

Stream MotoGP live on Kayo

Every race weekend of the 2021 MotoGP season can be streamed Live and On Demand, direct from the track, on the Kayo streaming platform. Kayo Sports offers access to all Fox Sports channels as well as ESPN and beIN so that you can watch MotoGP racing as well as heaps of other motorsports under one subscription. MotoGP is included in the Kayo 14 day free trial offer.

Stream MotoGP with Foxtel Now

If you like the idea of getting access to the entire Foxtel satellite service without set-up fees or installation, then Foxtel Now is the option for you. Foxtel Now gives you the option to stream over 50 live sports including every practice session, qualifying and race during the MotoGP season. MotoGP is included with the Foxtel Now free trial offer.

Kayo from Telstra MotoGP live stream

Telstra customers can follow every live MotoGP race across the 2021 calendar on the cheap with a Kayo from Telstra offer. This service provides all the same content available with standard Kayo plans. The key difference is you only pay $15 per month for a Basic Plan, and $25 per month for the Premium Plan. Both of these options include logins for the Kayo app, which is ideal for watching bike racing on the go.

MotoGP live on Foxtel Now from Telstra

To access MotoGP with the Telstra Foxtel Now option all you need is a Telstra broadband or mobile account. The service includes the same advantages and content as Foxtel Now, the only difference being that the first month is offered completely free (part of a 12-month contract). That means access to live racing on the MotoGP calendar from March through to November.

Watch MotoGP live with Foxtel

If you are a Foxtel cable or satellite customer and already have the Sports HD option, there is an easy way to stream Live and On Deamnd MotoGP. Foxtel Sports allows customers to access the Foxtel Go app, meaning you can watch all 2021 MotoGP rounds on the move. You can download Foxtel Go from Google Play or the Apple Store. Simply use your Foxtel logins and stream racing whenever you have an internet connection.

Stream MotoGP on free-to-air

Channel 10 is the home of MotoGP on free to air in Australia. They show every race from every round live on Freeview TV. This coverage doesn’t, however, include practice and qualifying sessions, or the Moto2 and Moto3 support races. You can also stream races via 10’s streaming platform, TenPlay.

Stream MotoGP replays on demand

There are a handful of races during the 2021 MotoGP World Championship that start a little late in the evening for Aussie bike fans, usually on a Sunday! This is frustrating if you want to watch the action live. However, it’s never been easier to catch up with races on demand the morning after.

Apps like Kayo also allow you to watch any race with the ‘No Spoilers’ option, which ensures you don’t see any results, allowing you to see the race as if it were going out live. On top of that, you can stream practical Kayo Minis which are condensed replays of the action in one small highlights reel. Ideal for a quick viewing session during a commute or before the next race gets underway.

How to stream MotoGP for free

A great way to watch every MotoGP session, including practice, qualifying and race days, is with a free trial. In Australia, you can get free trials for watching MotoGP with both Kayo and Foxtel Now. These two providers give you coverage of prestigious races like the Assen GP, Grand Prix de Catalunya and the Austrian GP.

Free trials are generally available to new and returning customers. Even though Telstra does not offer a free trial, they do provide tasty discounts and reduced monthly costs for their Kayo and Foxtel Now services.

Here are some of the big names to look out for during the 2021 MotoGP World Championship.

Jack Miller

2021 has been the year that Jack Miller started showing his real potential. He has been handed a works Ducati, giving him the machinery capable of putting him on the top of the podium.

Fabio Quartararo

One of the revelations of last season was Fabio Quartararo. The Frenchman took the World title for the first time, but many thought it was due to the fact Marc Marquez was injured. Marquez is back this year, and Quartararo is still winning!

Johann Zarco

Another Frenchman making a push at the top of the standings this year is Johann Zarco. He is testing his compatriot all the way on his works Ducati and is definately in with a shout of taking the title in November.

Joan Mir

Suzuki has battled their way back to the top of the grid thanks to the talents of Spaniard Joan Mir. He has all the talent to become world champion one day and is currently taking the claim of ‘Spain’s number 1’ away from Marc Marquez. Although Maverick Vinales might have something to say about that!
