While Netflix has the experience and the tenure, BINGE carries the majority of TV content that Foxtel offers, which makes its HBO-filled content largely appealing among subscribers. Netflix, on the other hand, is an American subscription streaming service and production company that's now available in over 190 countries. Launched in 1997, it offers a massive library of films and TV shows through distribution deals and original programming.

Free trials: BINGE or Netflix?
Most streaming services in Australia offer a free trial with Stan and Amazon Prime Video being the most generous with 30 days free. But how about BINGE or Netflix?

Netflix vs BINGE: The verdict
The BINGE streaming service, while relatively new, is already one of Australia's go-to streaming services, all thanks to exclusive content from the world's biggest networks. Its catalogue of shows and movies continues to grow in both quantity and quality and BINGE has even started producing its own content. Getting access to everything it offers, which also includes Foxtel Originals, starts from only $10 per month, while its Premium tier is priced at $22 per month, cheaper than Netflix's similar tier priced at $25.99 each month.
Netflix, however, has some established shows that are just unmissable. Titles like Stranger Things, Ozark, Money Heist, The Crown, and Bridgerton, among others, are good enough reasons for fans to subscribe or even stay despite increasing prices. Netflix also offers offline viewing and 4K content (Premium plan only), features that BINGE has yet to add (although they did launch 4K streaming from 24 October 2023).
