Since 2013, millions of Australians have come to trust Compare TV as their home for all things digital entertainment. Starting out in a suburban lounge room in Sydney, Australia, CompareTV sought to give Australians a go-to site for all things online entertainment.
Today, Compare TV has 2 main offices based in Sydney and on the Gold Coast. Our categories of research includes streaming TV, broadband and entertainment bundling. All to ensure you find the perfect blend of content, platforms and plans – no matter what you watch or how you want to watch it.

How do we make money?
CompareTV is a 100% privately owned Australian company. We are not owned by a bank or insurer which means we don’t have any hidden agendas or sales targets to hit. We’re able to provide consumers with a free service because we have affiliate agreements in place with providers. This means that when you click through on one of our plans or promotional adverts and are redirected to our providers website (you will always be alerted to this via a loading page), they pay us a referral fee. That referral fee is not passed on to you in regards to the plan price nor is the price increased to cover our costs. We try to include as many suppliers & products in the market however there they may not be included in our search – for example, we may not be able to show a supplier’s products because we do not have an agreement with them or because they do not wish to be included in our comparison.
