After realising that Joker doesn’t love her, aspiring villain Harley Quinn sets her own path to prove that she’s strong, cunning, and vicious enough to wreak havoc in Gotham City – all without being someone’s romantic sidekick. And so the Harley Quinn TV series revolves around the title character’s misadventures as Harley attempts to join the Legion of Doom, which she eventually accomplishes. She even starts her own crew and makes a name for herself in the criminal underworld without being overshadowed by Joker’s reputation.

The animated series received much acclaim upon its premiere in 2019 and continues to impress DC fans around the world. Returning for a fourth season, you can stream new episodes from Harley Quinn Season 4, as well as older episodes on demand using this guide.

Between Batman and Harley Quinn, Joker picks the former with no trouble. Finally realising that she means nothing to him, Harley suffers with such a heartbreak but also decides to start anew by donning a new look and ending things with the Joker.

Of course, she also announces her resolve to make herself known as the new criminal queenpin and even defeat all other villains. To begin, she forms her own crew consisting of Poison Ivy, Clayface, Doctor Psycho, King Shark, and Sy Borgman.

In Season 2, the apparent death of Batman made Gotham City a no man’s land, spawning the Injustice League, which consists of Penguin, the Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Two-Face, and Bane. Quinn initially wants to join their crew but was rejected, so Harley heads back to her own crew to take Gotham City for herself.

In Season 3, Harley and Poison Ivy become a couple. Together, they reform their crew and make plans to terraform the planet. Meanwhile, Commissioner Gordon runs for mayor with the support of Two-Face and Batman’s grief over the loss of his parents inadvertently starts a zombie apocalypse.

Harley Quinn becomes the unlikely hero in all this, stopping the zombies from taking over the city by joining forces with the Bat-family. Praised for her actions, Harley realises she wants to do good and continue being Batman’s therapist. Ultimately, she becomes the Bat-family’s newest member, but will her newfound superhero status in the DC universe last?

We’ll find out soon enough with Harley Quinn returning for Season 4 this July. Speaking of the new season, the raunchy series is expected to showcase more game-changing twists. It also likely picks up where the third season finale left off with Harley Quinn still exploring her newfound romance with Poison Ivy.

But with Ivy leading the Legion of Doom and Harley joining the Bat-Family, their divergent paths are sure to generate more troubles that will impact the whole of Gotham City.
