The 6th edition of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup is here. Organised by the Asian Football Confederation, 16 teams will compete from 15 April to 3 May, 2024.

Qatar will be the host country for the second time, with Saudi Arabia entering as the defending champions.

This year’s tournament has an added incentive. That’s because the top three finishers will qualify for a chance to medal in Football in the 2024 Summer Olympics in France.

How to watch the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup live in Australia

The 2024 edition of the Asian Cup kicks off on 15 April, and concludes with the final on the 3rd of May (AEST).

The Socceroos are located in Group A, alongside Qatar, Jordan, and Indonesia. Last time out (2022) the Socceroos made it into the Semi-Finals where they were narrowly defeated by Saudi Arabia.

Here in 2024, the live U-23 Asian Cup TV rights for Australia belong exclusively to Paramount+. Paramount+ of Australia will broadcast all 51 matches live, with replays available on-demand should you miss a key game.

For comparison, free-to-air broadcaster channel Ten will only be allowed to show the matches involving the Socceroos and select finals.
