Coming to Disney+ on April 26!
We Were The Lucky Ones
Georgia Hunter’s New York Times bestselling novel, We Were the Lucky Ones, has been adapted for TV with Joey King (Bullet Train, The Princess) and Logan Lerman (Hunters) playing Kurc siblings. Streams on Disney+ from April 17.
The Veil
Elisabeth Moss and Yumna Marwan star as two women embarking on a deadly game of truth, with one holding a a game-changing secret that the other one must expose. The new FX thriller is coming to Disney+ on April 30.
X-Men ‘97
Disney+ is reviving X-Men: The Animated Series nearly three decades after the original show’s conclusion in the 1990s. Titled X-Men ‘97, Marvel’s superhero team of mutants return in all new episodes to save the world that hates them from both old and new threats.
Grey’s Anatomy
Finally, after a year, our favourite fictional doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial are back for Grey’s Anatomy Season 20, hopefully bringing us the answers we need after last season’s cliffhanger ending.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch
Both a sequel to and spin-off from the series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch follows the members of a unique squad of clones as they navigate a galaxy that’s constantly changed by wars and uprisings. Final season streaming from 21 February on Disney+.
Marvel Studios’ Echo
Marvel Studios’ Echo follows Maya Lopez who returns to her hometown after the events in Hawkeye. As she reconnects with her native American roots, she also initiates a war fuelled by blood vengeance with Wilson Fisk, finally settling a score with his adoptive uncle.
Death and Other Details
In Death and Other Details, a brilliant but restless young woman finds herself at the centre of a murder investigation, reasonably so after being caught on camera going inside the victim’s room around the time of his death.
Doctor Who
To celebrate Doctor Who‘s 60th anniversary, the BBC is bringing three special episodes with David Tennant returning as the Fourteenth Doctor. Her companion Donna Noble is also joining him in a series of cosmic adventures as they navigate worlds previously unknown to us through space and time.
The Bear
Season 2 of The Bear picks up where the first season finale left off. Finally closing ‘The Beef’ to give way to a new restaurant, ‘The Bear’, the crew undertakes transformational journeys as they take on more challenges.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ first season is based on the first book in the series, “The Lightning Thief”. It follows the titular character, a 12-year-old demigod who’s unaware of his true origins and powers.
Faraway Downs
Baz Luhrmann’s 2008 epic drama Australia, which starred Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman, has been reworked as a television series titled Faraway Downs.
The Artful Dodger
Set in 1850s Australia after the events in the novel, the cunning Jack Dawkins, widely known as Artful Dodger, has managed to reinvent himself as a distinguished surgeon.
A Murder at the End of the World
After the success of the Netflix original series, The OA, creators Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij are back with another of what we can only expect as a grand TV spectacle in A Murder at the End of the World. Previously titled Retreat, the limited series follows Gen Z amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker named Darby Hart.
Loki
Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame when Loki steals the Tesseract, we see an alternate version of himself brought to the mysterious Time Variance Authority (TVA), an organisation that monitors the timeline.
Goosebumps
Based on the Goosebumps books of the same name, this 2023 reboot follows the shadowy and twisted journey of a group of five high schoolers. After they unleash supernatural forces that end up plaguing their town, they find themselves unearthing dark secrets, which also include their own parents’ teenage secrets.
Ahsoka
Two and a half years after it was first announced, the long-awaited Ahsoka series is here. First introduced as a 14-year-old Padawan apprentice assigned by Yoda to Anakin Skywalker,the beloved Star Wars character has a remarkable story and adventures of her own that warrants Ahsoka her very own solo series.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mcelhenney acquired the Welsh football team Wrexham AFC, its underdog story becoming the foundation of the docuseries Welcome to Wrexham.
The Other Black Girl
In the thrilling adaptation of Zakiya Dalila Harris’ 2021 best-seller The Other Black Girl, Sinclair Daniel takes the lead as Nella, an editorial assistant grappling with being the only Black employee in her company, that is until the arrival of Ashleigh Murray’s Hazel. Their budding friendship takes an ominous turn as Nella uncovers sinister happenings within the company.
Only Murders in the Building
In Only Murders in the Building, three strangers obsessed with true crime who live in the same apartment building suddenly find themselves involved in one. When a grisly death occurs inside their building, they decide to take the investigation into their own hands, working together to solve their neighbour’s mysterious death via their own true crime podcast.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia follows “The Gang,” a group of misfit, narcissistic sociopaths running Paddy’s Pub in South Philadelphia. Charlie, Mac, Dennis, and Dee, along with the eccentric millionaire Frank, showcase extreme selfishness, absurd behavior, and a stunning lack of awareness, leading to hilarious and cringeworthy situations.
Solar Opposites
Solar Opposites follow Terry, Korvo, Jesse, and Yumyulack, a family of aliens who crash-landed on Earth, who now must adapt to life here, to hilarious results.
Justified: City Primeval
Picking up several years after the events of the Justified Season 6 finale, Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens is back in Justified: City Primeval. In this continuation of the acclaimed series Justified, which aired for six seasons from 2010 to 2015, Timothy Olyphant returns as Raylan; only this time he’s based in Miami after having left Kentucky 15 years ago.
Secret Invasion
In Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion, Samuel L. Jackson returns as spymaster Nick Fury. After uncovering an extraterrestrial conspiracy that threatens the planet, he joins forces with former CIA agent Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman), long-time ally Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), and an unexpected Skrull ally Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion. A must-see for Marvel fans.
Futurama
Created by Matt Groening, the mastermind behind The Simpsons, Futurama follows the adventures of Philip J. Fry, a slacker pizza delivery boy cryogenically preserved for 1000 years and revived in the year 2999. After nearly a decade, the iconic animated series is back for Season 11!

Disney’s first scripted Australian series, The Clearing, is headlined by an exceptional line-up of Australian talent, including Teresa Palmer, Miranda Otto, and Guy Pearce, the eight-part psychological thriller is based on J.P. Pomare’s novel In The Clearing. The series also takes inspiration from the horrors of real-life cult.
Abbott Elementary
Writer and comedian Quinta Brunson stars in her own sitcom, Abbott Elementary. It follows Janine Teagues, a second grade teacher who, despite the odds stacked against her and her poorly funded school, remains optimistic about her job and what she can do for her students.
The Mandalorian
A top favourite among Star Wars fans, The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the creation of the First Order, allowing die-hard fans to further delve into the Star Wars universe. Embarking on a galactic journey with us are Din Djarin (The Mandalorian) and Grogu, whose father-and-son bond became essentially the heart of the show.
Moon Knight
Oscar Isaac stars as the title character in Moon Knight, which follows Marc Spector. Struggling with dissociative identity disorder, he would later become the moon’s knight of vengeance after being given powers by the Egyptian Moon God, Khonshu.
