Live streaming A-League

The 2023/24 Isuzu UTE A-League season kicks off on 7 October, and once again twelve teams are set for 26 grueling matchdays. The regular season will conclude on 28 April, 2024, at which time the top six teams will qualify for the Finals.

This season’s A-League finals will begin in early May with the Elimination Finals, followed by the Semis and the Grand Final. With new faces joining the league, and rosters changing, it’s anyone’s call who will emerge triumphant. But one thing’s guaranteed, 2023/24 promises to be one of the most exciting in the League’s history.

That’s because the excitement will be non-stop. As there will be no pause for the AFC Asian Cup in Qatar (12 Jan – 10 Feb, 2024), as well as the AFC U-23 Olympic Qualifiers in April and May of 2024.

With A-League viewership greatly on the rise, fans will be excited to know that every game of the 2023/24 season will be available to watch live. Read on to review the options for watching the A-League at home on TV, and how to stream the matches live to a mobile or internet connected device.

What’s In The Guide

Where to stream A-League 2023/24 live and free in Australia

There are two options for watching the A-League live in Australia, because the broadcast rights are exclusively shared between the Ten Network and Paramount+.

Free-to-air Network Ten, via the 10 Bold channel and their 10 Play streaming platform, will once again broadcast two live A-League matches per round during the regular season. The games carried live on 10 Bold will be simulcast on 10 Play.

The majority of live games on Ten will once again be the Saturday evening match and the Sunday afternoon contest. The only exception is that from mid-December, 2023, to the end of January, 2024, the Sunday games will move to the 5:00pm (AEDT) time-slot. As for the finals, every game will be available on the 10 Play streaming app.

For comparison, in 2023/24 Paramount+ remains the place to watch the A-League live, having acquired the streaming rights to every game in the competition until 2026. That’s a total of 156 regular season matches, and every game of the finals shown live, and ad-break free, whistle to whistle.

This includes every epic Friday night match, live and exclusive on Paramount+ of Australia, as well minis (condensed matches), highlights and full game replays. Additionally, Paramount+ is offering a 7-day free trial, so you can review the service before committing monthly

Watch A-League replays on demand

While watching the A-League is no doubt a priority, sometimes it can overlap with other popular sports events, or maybe you’ve been roped into social plans. In those cases you may wish to watch your favourite team’s match at a later point.

Match replays are a big part of the Paramount Plus offering. If you miss the big rivalry game or derby, Paramount will have the match to watch later on-demand. There’s also highlights, minis and special football programming available after each final whistle!
