What to expect in Top Chef Season 21?

The cooking competition series has been entertaining food lovers and cooking enthusiasts for over a decade now with the first season premiering in 2006.

The show’s format is quite simple – chefs compete against each other by undertaking culinary challenges. Their performances are then judged by professional chefs and other reputable names in the industry.

There’s an elimination challenge each week, in which one or more contestants are eliminated with the remaining contenders to further showcase their culinary genius.

The show also offers a dash of adventure as challenges can take place anywhere in the country, bringing contestants into the streets of San Francisco or experiencing the vivacity of Las Vegas to the charm of New Orleans.

In season 21, Top Chef hosts, judges, and 15 contestants from across the country all head to Wisconsin to showcase their grit, talent, and impeccable culinary skills.

Season 21 also features a new host, Kristen Kish. Padma Lakshmi, who hosted the series since season 2, departing after Top Chef Season 20. She’s set to join returning judges Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons.
