Unforgotten Season 5 preview

The latest season of Unforgotten introduces DCI Jessica James (Sinéad Keenan), replacing DCI Cassie Stuart after her tragic death at the season finale of Unforgotten Series 4.

As Sunny and the rest of the Bishop Street team grieves her loss, DCI James knows she has some very big shoes to fill when taking on her new job. However, her determination to leave a good impression on her first day entirely collapsed after learning of her husband’s affair.

Nonetheless, she joins the team in her first case with them, finding human remains in a newly renovated period property in Hammersmith, West London. Discovering that the body has been hidden for decades, dating back to the 1930s, it would seem that DCI Jess James and DS Sunny Khan have another baffling cold case to solve.

Unforgotten is created by writer Chris Lang and directed by Andy Wilson.
