Bupkis is an upcoming comedy series written, executive produced, and starring Saturday Night Live alum Pete Davidson. Detailing a fictionalised version of Pete Davidson’s life, the highly anticipated show will also see several notable figures appearing as guest stars, including Al Gore, Steve Buscemi, John Mulaney, and Bobby Cannavale, just to name a few. Goodfellas and The Irishman actor Joe Pesci also stars as Davidson’s grandfather while Nurse Jackie actress Edie Falco plays his mother.

Inspired by Pete Davidson‘s real life, Bupkis will be a hilarious and fascinating take on the comedian’s life, combining factual storytelling with absurd elements stemming from Davidson’s unadulterated and entirely unique worldview, a colorful quality he’s best known for.

Davidson co-wrote Bupkis with his longtime friend and collaborator Dave Sirus, alongside showrunner Judah Miller. Executive producers for the series include Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer, and Erin David, while Jason Orley will serve as director and co-executive producer.

From Steve Buscemi to Al Gore, it will also be interesting to see every guest star joining Davidson on his new show. Other confirmed celebrities to appear are Charlie Day, Brad Garrett, Simon Rex, Ray Romano, Kenan Thompson, and Chase Sui Wonders.

The new half-hour TV series is scheduled to premiere in Australia on 4th May, with all eight episodes dropping at once on BINGE. The show also launches on Foxtel and later on Foxtel Now from Sunday, 7 May at 7.30pm on FOX8 with new episodes airing weekly.

In this new comedy series, Pete Davidson offers a grounded storytelling with absurd elements using none other than his own life as inspiration. In Australia, Bupkis drops on streaming TV via BINGE, and later on Foxtel and Foxtel Now. As of this time, they’re the only confirmed providers for the new show.

In Australia, the new series debuts on Foxtel via the FOX8 channel, which is already a part of the standard Foxtel Plus bundle. When signing up, new customers can even save for up to 12 months on plan fees with Foxtel’s latest offers and deals.
