Selling Houses Australia returns with another awe-inspiring real estate makeovers.

Based on the British lifestyle and reality show of the same name, Selling Houses Australia follows a team of property experts who help property owners having difficulty selling their homes all over the country.

After the experts’ team initially assess the property, they proceed with a renovation to boost the property’s appeal and market value. Of course, all’s well that ends well when the property is put up for sale and considered sold at the end of each episode.

Selling Houses Australia Season 17 premieres on Wednesday, 5 March 2025 on LifeStyle with new episodes airing every week at 8.30 pm on BINGE, Foxtel, and Foxtel Now.

Unlike prior seasons, the seventeenth instalment of Australia’s favourite property series will run for 12 episodes. Season 17 also marks the first time that Selling Houses Australia will be streaming on BINGE.

Season 17 will still be headlined by interior designer Wendy Moore and former NRL player-turned-landscape designer Dennis Scott. Alongside real estate expert and host Andrew Winter, the trio transforms unsellable houses into real estate must-haves that many prospective buyers won’t be able to resist.

As per usual, the property experts must work harder to help homeowners to sell their properties amidst rising interest rates and dropping real estate values. Despite the unpredictable property market, the highlight of the show, of course, is the breathtaking renovations of properties to turn them into spectacular homes.

The new season also sees the Selling Houses Australia team exploring Australia’s heartland, bringing with them their exciting ideas and expertise for both interior and exterior makeovers.

Apart from renovating the houses of homeowners who are finding it challenging to sell their properties, the team also provides current practical advice to those wanting to delve into the property market.

As per Foxtel, “This season the team tackle an array of properties, from an inner-city terrace to an overcrowded and unloved 6-bedroom home in Sydney’s western suburbs as well as a heritage home in the historical town of Camden. In Queensland, the team deal with a house that is just too big for buyers, while in Melbourne’s suburbs, they face the unthinkable task of turning two houses into one.”

The lifestyle program has been a top favourite among viewers since premiering in 2008. It won the ASTRA Awards for Most Outstanding Lifestyle Program in 2009 and 2010, as well as received the Most Popular Lifestyle Program nomination at the Logie Awards from 2013 to 2019, and then again in 2023.

Andrew Winter, Wendy Moore, and Dennis Scott all return for season 16 of the popular home renovation series. Moore and Scott joined the series in 2022, replacing Charlie Albone and Shaynna Blaze.
