The last time Sophie (Palmer) saw her ex-boyfriend Thomas, she broke his heart when she said no to his proposal. So it comes as a shock to everyone when she inherited his aunt Connie’s house on Scribbly Gum Island. Now the Scribbly Gum Island is no ordinary island – the mysterious disappearance of a young couple many years ago has true crime enthusiasts flocking to the place.

In addition to the notorious unsolved Munro Baby mystery, the residents on the island also have their own secrets to hide. As their lives begin to unravel, aunt Connie’s unique family tree exposes its true self with Sophie at the heart of it all. More than mystery, the story “touches family matters, motherhood and those women whose legacy defines the generations that blossom after them”.

The cast of The Last Anniversary also includes Miranda Richardson (Spider), Charlie Garber, Uli Latukefu (Young Rock), and Jeremy Lindsay Taylor (Home and Away).
