Ragdoll TV series

From the award-winning producers of Killing Eve comes another thriller series set to dominate our screens with a heao of suspense and twists. The highly anticipated Ragdoll TV series is based on the novel of the same name by Daniel Cole with lead writer Freddy Syborn (Ms. Marvel, Bad Education) adapting it for television. A co-production between AMC and Alibi, find out how to watch this riveting serial killer thriller in Australia.

Six people have been murdered, dismembered, and transformed into one grotesque body suspended from a ceiling, ultimately becoming known as the ‘Ragdoll’. As the shocking case haunts London, newly reinstated DS Nathan Rose (Henry Lloyd-Hughes), his boss/best friend DI Emily Baxter (Thalissa Teixeira); and fresh recruit DC Lake Edmunds (Lucy Hale), are assigned to catch the Ragdoll killer.

Taking on the case proves not only proves dangerous for the team, but also twisted and damaging as the Ragdoll killer begins taunting the police by sending them the names of his next victims. DS Nathan Rose appears at the very end of his kill list. With potential victims to protect from the deranged killer, the detectives soon come under intense public scrutiny, making it harder for them to do their jobs. Now, not only do they need to capture the killer, they also have to ensure that the people on the culprit’s list of next victims are safe.

More than a mystery thriller show, Ragdoll captures the complexity of the relationships between the fascinating but flawed friends struggling with the repercussions of their actions and lapses in judgment.

The show consists of six episodes, which were commissioned by AMC and UKTV’s Alibi and executive produced by Sid Gentle Films Ltd. With Freddy Syborn as lead writer and executive producer. Sid Gentle Films is the British production company behind the highly acclaimed Killing Eve and also one of BBC Studios’ invested indie production companies.
