Two decades ago, a series of tragic events nearly ruined the blue-collar town of Millwood. In the present day, the horror continues as a group of disparate teen girls – a new generation of ‘Liars’ – are hunted and tormented by an unknown assailant. Who could be pulling the strings this time?

Season 1 was titled “Original Sin”, which refers to the secret sin that the girls’ parents committed many years ago. Not only do they need to endure as punishment for their mothers’ transgressions, they also need to answer for their own offenses.

After surviving the tormenting events of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, the girls are back for another major challenge to prevail over – summer school. But school duties aren’t the only thing that’s bound to spoil their exciting summer jobs and their budding romances with new love interests.

As it turns out, their harrowing experiences in the prior season are just a sample of what’s about to come with a new villain making a surprise visit. It’s still unclear whether this new villain is connected to A or not, but one thing is for sure – the girls will need to put up a hell of a fight again.

The new Liars (previously played by Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell, and Troian Bellisario) are now portrayed by Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco.

Check out the trailer for the new Pretty Little Liars Season 2 coming to Australia on May 9!
