Yellowjackets Season 2 plot
In 1996, a team of high-school girls soccer players travelled for a national tournament, only for their plane to crash deep in the Canadian wilderness. Stuck for nineteen months, the series chronicles the extreme measures they went to stay alive and how its consequences have caught up to them in their adult lives.
Returning for season 2, the series continues to follow two timelines as more troubling secrets are revealed. While we’ve discovered plenty about their time isolated in the wilds, there are more mysteries left to uncover. The second season will hopefully give us more details about what really went down after that fateful plane crash and how the events that followed changed their lives forever.
FeaturedThe new season also introduced new characters starting with The Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood who will play Walter, a citizen detective. He is joined by newcomers Lauren Ambrose (Servant), Jason Ritter (A Million Little Things), Nuha Jes Izman (FBI), Nicole Maines (Supergirl), François Arnaud (Blindspot), and Nia Sondaya (Truth Be Told).
Meanwhile, the original cast of Yellowjackets reprised their characters with Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Christina Ricci, and Juliette Lewis returning as the adult versions of Shauna Shipman, Taissa Turner, Misty Quigley, and Natalie Scatorccio.
