After the successes of Love Me and Colin from Accounts, BINGE is back with another original, the High Country TV series. This time it’s a gripping mystery thriller that stars Wentworth’s Leah Purcell.

In this eight-part series, Purcell plays Detective Andrea Whitford, who, after being assigned to the Victorian High Country, takes on the puzzling case of five missing persons. Her investigation, however, thrusts her into a frightening new reality involving murder,  revenge, and an intricate web of lies.

The High Country television show will be available to watch on BINGE as an exclusive original. Foxtel and Foxtel Now users, meanwhile, can watch the series via Showcase.

Produced by Curio Pictures, High Country was commissioned by the Foxtel Group for BINGE.

The new series is created by Marcia Gardner and John Ridley with Wentworth director Kevin Carlin taking directorial duties for five of the episodes. Beck Cole (Deadloch), who also wrote one episode, directed the remaining three episodes.
