Adapted from Liane Moriarty’s novel of the same name, the series centres on the Delaney family and their seemingly wonderful lives. Parents Stan (Sam Neill) and Joy (Annette Bening) are former tennis coaches who have decided to sell their successful tennis academy.

Looking forward to retirement after 50 years of marriage, spending more time with each other and their four children, and just living what should be the golden years of their lives, things take a tragic turn when Joy mysteriously disappears.

With no clue as to the how’s and why’s of her disappearance, siblings Amy (Alison Brie), Troy (Jake Lacy), Logan (Conor Merrigan) and Brooke (Essie Randles) are forced to re-examine their parents’ marriage.

As they delve into their family’s history, dynamics begin to shift and secrets, well, secrets have no choice but to face a shocking unravelling.

Apples Never Fall was written by Melanie Marnich for television, who also executive produced the show alongside author Liane Moriarty, David Heyman, Albert Page, Jillian Share, Gregory Jacobs, Joe Hortua, and lead actress  Annette Bening. Chris Sweeney and Dawn Shadforth share directing credits.
