Below Deck Mediterranean’s new season will follow Captain Sandy as she takes control of M/Y Mustique as it embarks on one of its most dazzling journeys traversing the Italian Riviera and Genoa, Italy. Almost everything is new for Captain Yawn this time as she takes command of a new boat, set in a new place. Just like Below Deck Mediterranean Season 7, the latest episodes will also introduce fresh faces as she works with each new department head.
The new deck team aboard the oversized vessel M/Y Mustique starts with two crew members Stews Natalya Scudder and Kyle Viljoen returning for Season 8. They’re joined by fan-favourite Tumi Mhlongo, who hails from Below Deck Down Under as Chief Stew. New crew members joining familiar faces in the Below Deck franchise are Chef Jack Luby (Chef Jack wows the guests with his local Italian fare), Bosun Ruan Irving, Lead Deckhand Luka Brunton, alongside Haleigh Gorman and Lara Du Preez, and Stew Jessika Asai. The unexpected shake up results in every department struggling to find their sea legs.
