In Married at First Sight Season 12, relationship experts John Aiken, Mel Schilling, and sexologist Alessandra Rampolla once again inject science into this social experiment involving brides and grooms from all across Australia. Instant sparks fly for some couples, while others struggle to build romantic attraction, leading to the much-dreaded friend zone.

The 2025 instalment of MAFS also features a new segment to spice things up even more, the ‘Final Test Week’, a first in the MAFS franchise. It’s teased to be the show’s most challenging segment with the MAFS 2025 cast confronted with the lingering question, “is the grass greener on the other side?”.

With the show’s controversial premise, there’s certainly plenty of drama to witness. From betrayals to heartbreaks to rivalries and downright shocking twists and turns, there’s a reason why MAFS is a big hit in Australia and it’s because every episode just brings indulgent thrill and intrigue.

Bringing more sizzle to the romance are MAFS’ popular segments – Dinner Parties, Confessions Week, Alessandra’s Intimacy Week and Home Stays, Couples Retreat, and Commitment Ceremonies.

Any of these segments can prove to be unpredictable, resulting in surprising confrontations and instigating serious drama that could make or break a couple. And with the new Final Test Week, this year’s MAFS couples are in for a wild ride!

Speaking of couples, there will be 10 this season just like last year. Here’s the cast of MAFS 2025:
