A Million Little Things follows a tight-knit circle of friends in Boston whose bond continues to stand the test of time. Their friendship only grows stronger even with life’s unpredictable curveballs. Despite the changes they’ve gone through over the years, some finding success, some finding love, and some struggling in both, they all have one thing in common: they all feel trapped in this life.

That all changes when one of them dies. Shaken by their friend’s unexpected death, they all begin to learn how to live fuller lives as they process their grief. Renewed for a fifth and final season, Season 5 is now available to watch on streaming TV in Australia. Find out how using this guide.

In the show’s farewell season, fans of the drama will be taken back to the show’s story of friendship and love, grief and despair that life throws at them.

In its almost half a decade run, we’ve seen these characters explore new identities, embrace family formations, and navigate their changing careers. As they experience more joys and adversities, they learn to love more and seek forgiveness, strengthening their bond as a family.

In Season 5, we’ll know more about Gary’s condition as it was revealed in the fourth season that his cancer has returned, just after he and Maggie have received the good news that they’re finally expecting. While Gary didn’t want his friends to know, Rome and Gina inadvertently found out anyway.
