The highly anticipated 10-part series starring Redmayne (Fantastic Beasts), Lashana Lynch (The Woman King), and Úrsula Corberó (Money Heist) finally premieres this week in Australia.

Intense and gripping, the new British thriller follows The Jackal, a paid assassin unmatched in his skills. That is until a British intelligence officer becomes resolved to hunt him down.

Here’s how you can watch every episode online.

The Day of the Jackal release date in Australia has been confirmed to happen on 7 November, a week earlier than its premiere in other international territories and coinciding with its UK debut.

The series consists of 10 parts. On BINGE, five episodes arrive during premiere with the remaining ones released weekly. It will conclude with a double episode finale on 5 December.

In this reimagining of the 1973 film, which is based on Frederick Forsyth’s 1971 novel of the same name, a lone assassin known as The Jackal (Redmayne) carries out assassinations by picking targets with the highest fees.

However, following his latest kill, he finally meets his match in the form of British intelligence officer Bianca (Lynch). Her tenacity and deep-rooted resolve to catch the elusive killer leads to a fiery “cat-and-mouse chase across Europe”.

The Jackal’s personal life also reaches new levels of dangerous complications when he meets Nuria (Corberó). Unaware of his true identity, she becomes entangled in his double life and the crimes he needs to pay for. The result? You, on the edge of your seat.

The series was written for television by Ronan Bennett, who also serves as showrunner and producer, and directed by Brian Kirk.

In addition to Eddie Redmayne, Lashana Lynch, and Úrsula Corberó, the cast also includes Game of Thrones actors Charles Dance and Richard Dormer, as well as Peacemaker’s Chukwudi Iwuji, and His Dark Materials’ Lia Williams.
