The show’s premise revolves around the Bravo Team, Navy SEALs’ most elite unit. Expectations are high for the members of this unit and armed with exceptional combat skills and training to operate under immense pressures, they deliver most times.

However, facing life and death situations on a regular basis takes a toll on the team, including Jason (David Boreanaz), Bravo Team’s leader, his most trusted friend Ray (Neil Brown Jr.), the volatile but loyal soldier Sonny (A. J. Buckley), and second-generation Navy SEAL member Clay (Max Thieriot).

In the final seventh season, Bravo Team is once again called into action at the last minute. “Ripped from their families and deployed across the globe”, they must help their country defend itself from foreign superpowers.

“As the military landscape shifts, personal lives, teammates and priorities change too, setting the stage for an emotional ending”, reads the new season’s official synopsis. The final season will also introduce new characters played by Beau Knapp (The Lost Symbol) and Dylan Walsh (Superman & Lois).

SEAL Team is created by Benjamin Cavell, who serves as an executive producer alongside lead star David Boreanaz, Ed Redlich, Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly, Christopher Chulack, Spencer Hudnut, John Glenn, and Mark Owen.

The best way to catch a glimpse of what’s about to come is to watch the trailer here:

Headlining the series is television staple David Boreanaz, previously best known for his roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Bones. He plays team leader Jason Hayes a.k.a. Bravo 1/1B. Joining him in the main cast are Neil Brown Jr. as Ray and A. J. Buckley as Sonny.

Max Thieriot’s Clay Spenser left the series after SEAL Team Season 6. Jessica Paré’s Mandy Ellis didn’t reprise her main cast role after the fourth season, although she remained as a recurring character.
