The Caddo Lake movie is a new thriller starring Dylan O’Brien and Eliza Scanlen from producer M. Night Shyamalan.
Another mystery thriller is skipping theatrical release to land straight on streaming TV. Titled Caddo Lake (initially titled “Vanishings” and “The Vanishings at Caddo Lake”), it revolves around two families experiencing the brunt of tragedies after an eight-year-old’s sudden disappearance.

What is Caddo Lake about?
In this new thriller, Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf, Love and Monsters) plays Paris Long, who returns home after years of being away. Guilt-ridden over his mother’s death, who had died in an accident while having a seizure, he continues to find answers about her death. He suspects there’s more to the tragic event.
Then there’s Ellie (Eliza Scanlen), who lives with her mother, stepfather, and stepsister, eight-year-old Anna (Caroline Falk). When Anna mysteriously disappears, Ellie and Paris will be bound by fateful circumstances, tying the girl’s disappearance to a series of deaths and vanishings in the past.
Caddo Lake was written and directed by Celine Held and Logan George. M. Night Shyamalan is one of the movie’s producers under his production company Blinding Edge Pictures, alongside other producers Ashwin Rajan, Kara Durrett, and Josh Godfrey.
