The tell-all documentary examines the accusations against Nickelodeon television producer Dan Schneider. From 1994, he produced a string of successful children’s shows on the network, including All That, The Amanda Show, Zoey 101, and iCarly

Featuring interviews with some of the cast and crew members who had worked with Schneider, the series exposes the showrunner’s toxic workplace behaviour at Nickelodeon. In the wake of the “MeToo movement”, accusations of sexual misconduct and gender discrimination were reported.

Quiet on Set also makes a shocking revelation when Drake & Josh star Drake Bell was revealed to be the victim in Brian Peck’s child abuse case. Peck was a dialogue coach at Nickelodeon who was arrested and charged for child sexual abuse  in 2003. Peck also worked with Schneider as an acting and dialogue coach on All That and The Amanda Show.

The true crime series was directed by Mary Robertson and Emma Schwartz. Robertson also executive produced the documentary alongside Aaron Saidman, Eli Holzman, Nicholas Carlson, Joel Stonington, Kate Taylor and Pamela Deutsch.

You can watch the trailer for the new docuseries below.

One of the documentary’s highlights is the appearance of Drake Bell, who starred in hit Nickelodeon shows such as The Amanda Show and Drake & Josh. Cast members of other Nickelodeon programmes like All That and Zoey 101 have also been interviewed in the series.

The complete cast and crew members of Nickelodeon shows examined in this documentary are as follows:

  • Drake Bell – actor who starred in Drake & Josh and The Amanda Show
  • Joe Bell – Drake Bell’s father
  • Tracey Brown – Bryan Herne’s mother
  • Mike Denton – cameraman on iCarly
  • Virgil L. Fabian – director on All That and The Amanda Show
  • Leon Frierson – cast member on All That
  • Bryan Hearne – cast member on All That
  • Katrina Johnson – cast member on All That
  • Jenny Kilgen – writer on The Amanda Show
  • Raquel Lee – cast member on The Amanda Show
  • Alexa Nikolas – cast member on Zoey 101
  • Giovonnie Samuels – cast member on All That
  • Christy Stratton – writer on The Amanda Show
  • Kyle Sullivan – cast member on All That
  • Karyn Finley Thompson – editor for All That, The Amanda Show, and Drake & Josh

If you’re looking for other documentaries to watch, both BINGE and Foxtel offer other docos with shocking revelations, including The Curious Case of Natalia Grace, Savior Complex, Secrets of Playboy, Secrets of Penthouse, Secrets of Miss America, House of Hammer, Catch and Kill: The Podcast Tapes, and more.
