Professor Noel Fitzpatrick and his team return for an eleventh series. In the first episode, a tiny Jackahuahua puppy is in need of emergency spinal surgery after being attacked by a dog in the park, but it is not certain that he will be able to get back on his feet again after the operation. Elsewhere, a Bernese has a rare cyst in his elbow, requiring a challenging operation for removal, and an excitable Labrador requires elbow replacement surgery, which will result in a long and difficult road to recovery.
