Them Season 2 moves on from the Emory family in the 1950s to a serial killer on the loose in the 1990s. Deborah Ayorinde’s Detective Reeve is in charge of the investigation of the gruesome crimes that terrify even the most hardened detectives in the police force. Here’s how to watch new episodes.

Just like the first season, it’s likely for Prime to release all eight episodes on the same day.

Every episode of Them: The Scare only streams on Prime Video, a streaming service that’s part of the larger Amazon Prime. New customers can test run the service for 30 days free. After that, the monthly plan is $9.99/month, or save a little with the annual plan at $79.

Amazon Prime is no stranger to big streaming productions with originals like The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Citadel, The Boys, and many more. As of this writing, Prime has only one streaming tier which allows up to three concurrent streaming and 4K video quality on selected titles.

Since there’s only one option, all these features are included in the $9.99 monthly plan. With other streamers, users are required to subscribe to a premium plan to get all the best stuff. So despite the recent price increase, this still makes Prime Video one of the cheapest services in Australia.

Them is an anthology series similar to the narrative structure of American Horror Story, meaning every season tells a different story. Season 1 followed a black family in the 1950s, the Emorys, as they moved to an all-white neighbourhood in Los Angeles.

Their decision to do so brought the family the most tormenting challenges of their lives, being taunted by malevolent evil spirits in their new home, all while getting vicious threats from their white neighbours.

In Them Season 2, the story moves to LAPD Detective Dawn Reeve (still played by Ayorinde) and her investigation of a serial killer leaving gruesome crime scenes in his wake.

The killer’s M.O. has left all the detectives shaken, knowing that he’s killing in ways that no person possibly could. Delving deeper into every mortifying case, her search for the truth takes a horrifying turn when something sinister begins to target her and her family.

Them is created by Little Marvin and executive produced by Lena Waithe.
