Passenger TV series: Release date and where to watch in Australia

New ITV dark comedy thriller, Passenger TV series, hits Australian streaming in October. 

Lovecraft Country and Loki actress Wunmi Mosaku plays a former Met officer investigating a series of bizarre crimes in the fictional Northern town of Chadder Vale. It all started when a girl disappeared, reappearing 24 hours later. 

However, her return didn’t stop strange incidents from taking place as it becomes evident that something bad and big is going on, disrupting the town’s relative peace.

The Passenger TV show premieres in Australia with two episodes on Friday, 18 October. The remaining episodes of the six-part series rolls out weekly on streaming TV after that. 

The new thriller originally premiered in the UK earlier this year in March.

BAFTA-award winning Wunmi Mosaku plays ex-Met Police Detective Riya Ajunwa in ITV’s new dark comedy thriller, Passenger. After a girl disappears, the former officer becomes involved in the police’s efforts to investigate the disappearance. 

After the girl reappears one day later, their small town of Chadder Vale continues to experience strange occurrences and shocking crimes, unsettling the town. Riya has become convinced that all is not as it seems as more unnatural incidents keep piling up. 

Passenger is written and created by Andrew Buchan and directed by Lee Haven-Jones and Nicole Charles. Jane Featherstone, Lucy Dyke, and Simon Maloney were executive producers while Sumrah Mohammed served as the series producer.
