Colleen Hoover’s best-selling novel has been finally made into a film. Here’s how to watch It Ends with Us online.
The compelling drama based on the book of the same name tells the story of Lily Bloom (Lively) and her romance with Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni). As their love deepens, she begins to see a different side of Ryle that brings up her traumatic childhood as a result of her parents’ turbulent relationship.

When is It Ends with Us streaming in Australia?
The film based on the best-selling “It Ends with Us” book hit Australian theatres last 8 August 2024. It went on to become a global box-office hit earning $351 million against a $25 million budget.
UPDATE: After over seven months, the controversial film drops on streaming TV from 8 March 2025. But where to watch It Ends with Us in Australia and will it be on BINGE? After a long wait, yes, It Ends with Us is now streaming on BINGE and Foxtel.
On Foxtel, it launches on Movies Premiere at 8:30pm, then on demand on Foxtel Now.

What is It Ends with Us about?
The It Ends with Us film tells the story of Lily, a woman with a traumatic childhood caused by her father’s abusive behaviour towards her mother. Following her father’s death, she decides to start anew and pursue her lifelong dream of opening her own flower shop in Boston. There, she meets charming neurosurgeon Ryle (Baldoni), and following their clear attraction for each other, begin a romantic relationship.
Their deepening romance, however, only brings unexpected horrors for Lily when she begins to see a previously concealed side of Ryle, serving as a reminder that abuse in relationships is insidiously fatal. Ryle’s moments of rage also bring back harrowing memories of her father abusing her mother.
The return of her first love, Atlas (Sklenar), only worsens things for Lily and Ryle, with the latter consumed with jealousy that pushes him to the edge. Realising that things won’t be better for her as long as he’s in the picture, Lily must make a decision to finally end the pattern that destroyed her mother and now, her.
The adaptation is directed by Justin Baldoni and produced by Lively, Alex Saks, Jamey Heath, and Christy Hall, from a screenplay by Christy Hall, based on the book by Hoover. Baldoni is the co-owner of Wayfarer Studios, one of the production companies involved in the movie adaptation of the It Ends with Us book.
The cast of It Ends with Us includes Blake Lively (A Simple Favor) as Lily Bloom, Justin Baldoni (Jane the Virgin) as Ryle, Brandon Sklenar (1923) as Atlas, and Jenny Slate (Gifted) as Ryle’s sister Allysa. Isabela Ferrer stars as young Lily and Alex Neustaedter as young Atlas. Hasan Minhaj also plays Marshall, Ryle’s brother-in-law. Kevin McKidd and Amy Morton play as Lily’s parents Andrew and Jenny Bloom.
Despite its commercial success, the movie is mired in controversy after production disputes between Lively and Baldoni surfaced. Prior to their respective lawsuits, the former was also heavily criticised for not addressing themes of domestic violence while promoting the film.
