Fox’s animated sitcom Bob’s Burgers follows third-generation restaurateur Bob Belcher, wife Linda, their three kids Tina, Gene, Louise, and their eponymous burger joint. The place isn’t your regular hamburger restaurant. There may be slow days, a jilted ex lover-turned disgruntled health inspector, and a wild competition with the more successful Jimmy Pesto’s Pizzeria, but the business always persists.

Bob’s Burgers plot
The Belcher family, parents Bob and Linda and their three children, Tina, Gene, and Louise, run a burger restaurant on Ocean Avenue. Every episode showcases the family’s experiences in managing their business, which is constantly in danger of being shut down. They also interact with some peculiar customers, including Bob’s Burgers regulars mortician Mort and handyman Teddy.
The burger joint is also the family’s ultimate source of outrageous adventures as it strives to prevail over nasty competitors and Linda’s scheming ex-fiancé Hugo, who’s always finding new ways for Bob’s Burgers to go out of business. As their often meddling and wealthy landlord Mr. Fischoeder challenges Bob to constantly prove himself, he finds himself even more inspired to come up with bigger, riskier ideas.
Created by Loren Bouchard, who also co-developed it with Jim Dauterive, Bob’s Burgers’ critical and audience reception has improved over time. The latest instalment to air on television is season 14, with renewal for season 15 having already been confirmed.
