Foxtel to Launch its First Loyalty Program 'Foxtel First'

Foxtel First Loyalty Program

Loyalty programs greatly add value to any service customers subscribe to. Telstra’s Telstra Plus has definitely made signing up more worthwhile, adding validity in your decision to join. Now it’s Foxtel’s turn with the soon-to-be announced loyalty program Foxtel First.

With the rise of loyalty programs in Australia today,  customers tend to look for more than just a service. Now it’s all about discounts and rewards. Foxtel’s upcoming loyalty program Foxtel First will deliver exactly that. Customers can expect for a better experience as the pay TV company plans to launch the program any day now. Foxtel houses exclusive rights to the hottest TV shows, movies, and sporting events. The addition of Foxtel First will certainly spice things up.

Foxtel First Will Launch Soon

Foxtel is currently testing the program by inviting select customers to join the Foxtel Access program via email. “As a Foxtel Access member, we’d love for you to help us trial a new loyalty program that puts you, well, first,” the email read.

Foxtel First will provide customers access to “money-can’t-buy” experiences, movie screenings, and even tickets to major events. And these are just the initial perks. The longer you stay with the company, the grander the benefits will be.

What Other Benefits to Expect?

As part of Foxtel testing the waters in the loyalty program department, customers who register will be eligible for one free movie in the Foxtel Movie store. Foxtel members will also be among the first ones to access the newest shows and “other hot picks every week on Bonus”.

There’s also an indication that members will move up to certain status levels such as Gold, which is comparable to Telstra Plus’ membership tiers. Gold members will most likely receive more incentives. Customers will have to wait for Foxtel to announce the program to know more about it.

It was also this year that Telstra launched its rewards program, Telstra Plus. Telstra customers (except business) can register for free via their Telstra ID to earn points with every bill payment or purchase. Rewards include discounted movie tickets, as well as marked down prices to concerts and sporting events. Depending on the membership tier, more exciting benefits are up for grabs. Gold members, for instance, can get up to 3 months of Kayo and 6 months of Stan for free!

When Will Foxtel First Become Available?

Foxtel has not yet made an announcement as to when the loyalty program will make its much-awaited introduction. For now, select customers can take advantage of Foxtel First by registering as early test users. “It’s still early days, so there are some finer things for us to iron out,” Foxtel said.
