The new series follows Alex Cross (Hodge), a detective and forensic psychologist who dedicates most of his time and expertise to delve into the minds of killers, which helps him apprehend those who remain elusive from the authorities. He also digs into the minds of the victims in order to catch notorious killers.

Outside of his job, Cross is a doting father and family man. However, his grief over his wife’s murder only made him more tenacious when it comes to hunting killers. So when a serial killer begins leaving a trail of dead bodies, Cross will stop at nothing to the point of obsession to unleash the killer’s identity.

Cross (2024) is created by Ben Watkins, also showrunner and executive producer, based on James Patterson’s “Alex Cross” books. Main star Aldis Hodge produced the show alongside Chris Agoston.
