Robert Durst was the eldest son of New York City real estate magnate Seymour Durst, but gained notoriety as the suspect for the disappearance of his first wife Kathleen McCormack in 1982, the murder of his friend Susan Berman in 2000, and the killing of his neighbour Morris Black in 2001.

In 2015, a documentary titledThe Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst was released with Durst himself participating. He had incessantly denied the crimes but was caught saying “What the hell did I do? Killed them all, of course” to himself while in the bathroom during filming, unaware that his mic was still on.

Many years later, a new chapter in Durst’s chilling crimes serves as the premise in The Jinx Part Two, unveiling previously hidden evidence and new witnesses.

What’s in this Guide?

The new chapter in The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst will be available to watch on BINGE, Foxtel, and Foxtel Now, following in the footsteps of the original documentary released in 2015.

Ahead of the new season premiere, the first season of The Jinx is still available to stream on the aforementioned services. On Foxtel and Foxtel Now, you can find the docuseries airing on Docos.

It will include new interviews, never-before-seen material, and the calls that Durst had made while incarcerated.

Durst was acquitted for the murder of Morris Black, but was arrested for the murder of Susan Berman in 2015, the night before the final episode of The Jinx had aired. He was eventually charged with his wife’s murder in 2021, but died the following year prior to his trial.

Andrew Jarecki returns as the director in this follow-up to the 2015 true crime documentary. Jarecki also co-executive produced the series with Zac Stuart-Pontier and Kyle Martin; Charlotte Kaufman, Sam Neave, Richard Hankin and Susan Lazarus serve as producers.
