Outlander Season 7 resumes with new episodes now streaming in Australia.

The highly popular series follows Claire Randall (Caitríona Balfe), a former World War II nurse, who was mysteriously transported back in time, 200 years into a Scottish Highland clan.

There, she falls in love with Highland warrior Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) while her present-time husband, Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies), searches for her.

Battles, tragedies, shocking alliances, and a whole lot has happened since then with the seventh season picking up where the sixth season left off.

Fortunately for fans in Australia, new episodes from Outlander Season 7 is set to drop later this month, continuing Claire and Jamie’s fight to protect their family as they navigate life in colonial America.

The 16-part new season initially premiered last 17 June 2023 and aired for eight episodes. After over a year of waiting, the second half of Season 7 is finally coming to streaming TV with Outlander Season 7, Part 2 premiering from 23 November 2024

The eight-episode second half drops new episodes every Saturday. The Season 7 finale is scheduled to air on 11 January 2025.

The colonial newspaper clipping that Roger and Brianna found informing the deaths of Jamie and Claire in a fire didn’t happen. Their house burned to the ground, yes, but the enduring couple made it out just in time. While they escaped their tragic eventual fates, it’s not yet over for the Frasers as their marriage is tested once again in the show’s upcoming episodes.

In Season 7, we’ll finally see Jamie, Claire, and Young Ian (John Bell) leaving their lives in America to return to Scotland. However, they won’t escape the perils of the Revolutionary War that easy as Claire and Jamie deem it necessary for the former to leave Scotland again and head back to the colonies.

Roger (Richard Rankin) and Brianna (Sophie Skelton), meanwhile, are separated once again across time when the former went after their son, Jemmy, who was kidnapped by Rob Cameron. Roger, however, finds himself lost through time, unable to find his son and leaving Brianna in the 1980s.

With both the Frasers and the MacKenzies scrambling to return to their homes and loved ones, all while navigating unfamiliar territories and facing new enemies across time, will they ever find their way back to each other?

More than a more thrilling storyline, Outlander Season 7 also features the return of familiar Outlander characters, including Dougal MacKenzie (Graham McTavish), Laoghaire Fraser (Nell Hudson), the elder Ian Murray (Steven Cree), Geillis Duncan (Lotte Verbeek), and Brian Fraser (Andrew Whipp). It’s worth noting that these characters will revisit different times and places.

Caitríona Balfe and Sam Heughan reprise their roles as Claire and Jamie Fraser, respectively, as well as Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin playing the roles of Brianna and Roger.
