Following their face-off with Carnage (Woody Harrelson) and the death of Patrick Mulligan (Stephen Graham) in Venom 2, Eddie and Venom are on the run from the military and ferocious symbiotes known as the Xenophage. These creatures are sent to Earth by Knull, the creator of the symbiotes, in his vicious efforts to retrieve a Codex capable of setting him free, now embedded in both Eddie and Venom.

In addition to Knull and the terrifying Xenophages, the military led by General Rex Strickland (Chiwetel Ejiofor) is also after the troublesome duo with the intention of taking Venom to further study symbiotes, creating the government operation Imperium. Introduced as Imperium researchers are Dr. Teddy Paine (Juno Temple) and Sadie “Christmas” (Clark Backo).

Venom: The Last Dance stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom, Chiwetel Ejiofor as General Rex Strickland, Juno Temple as Dr. Teddy Paine, Rhys Ifans as Martin Moon, Peggy Lu as Mrs. Chen, Clark Backo as Sadie “Christmas”, Alanna Ubach as Nova Moon, and Andy Serkis as Knull. Stephen Graham also reprises his role as Patrick Mulligan in Venom 3

The film is written and directed by Kelly Marcel with lead star Tom Hardy also co-developing the story with Marcel.
