UPDATE: The Transformers One streaming date in Australia has finally been confirmed, debuting Tuesday, 6 May 2025 on BINGE and Paramount Plus. On Foxtel and Foxtel, the movie will debut on Saturday, 10 May 2025 via the Movies Family channel.

What is the plot of Transformers One?
Before Optimus Prime became the formidable leader of the Autobots, he was miner Orion Pax (Chris Hemsworth), best friends with D-16 (Brian Tyree Henry), who later became his sworn enemy Megatron. The new film tells the origin story of the franchise’s biggest characters and how they change the fate of Cybertron forever.
Discovering corruption in Cybertron under its scheming leader Sentinel Prime, Orion and D-16 team up with Elita-1 (Scarlett Johansson) and B-127, later Bumblee (Keegan-Michael Key), to stop him from further ruining their planet. As they attempt to restore the peace, the resulting rebellion tears the two best friends apart, with D-16 consumed by his need for revenge.
This new Transformers film features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth as Orion Pax, Brian Tyree Henry as D-16, Scarlett Johansson as Elita-1, Keegan-Michael Key as B-127, Steve Buscemi as Starscream, Laurence Fishburne as Alpha Trion, and Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime.
The first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, it serves as a prequel film to Michael Bay’s trilogy. It’s also the franchise’s first animated feature film since The Transformers: The Movie in 1986. It is directed by Josh Cooley from a screenplay by Eric Pearson, Andrew Barrer, and Gabriel Ferrari.
