What is the plot of Total Control?

The drama revolves around indigenous woman Alex Irving (Mailman), who, after a harrowing encounter with a gunman outside a local courthouse, becomes the country’s reluctant national hero.

As she becomes catapulted into the national spotlight and into the Senate, she instantly realises she’s been used to execute a nasty power play. Betrayed and enraged, she fights tooth and nail not only to survive, but also challenge the country’s political establishment.

In addition to Mailman and Griffiths, the drama features a dynamic cast that also includes:

Rob Collins, Wayne Blair, Anthony Hayes, Wesley Patten, Steph Tisdell, Daniela Farinacci, Lisa Flanagan, Benedict Hardie, Anita Hegh, Huw Higginson, Catherine McClements, Fayssal Bazzi, Ursula Yovich, Lisa Hensley and Trisha Morton-Thomas.

Griffiths also serves as an executive producer alongside Stuart Page.
