Following the original British version’s format, Taskmaster New Zealand features five contestants competing in a range of hilarious and bizarre tasks given by NZ’s Taskmaster Jeremy Wells, implemented by his assistant, Paul Williams.

At the end of each task, Wells awards points based on performance and entertainment value (and his own whims) with one winner besting everyone.

Taskmaster New Zealand airs on TVNZ with support from NZ On Air. Foxtel and BINGE streams the series in Australia. Previous winners include Angella Dravid (Season 1), Laura Daniel (Season 2), Josh Thomson (Season 3), and Melanie Bracewell (Season 4).

Wondering who the next big winner is? Tune in to every new episode from Season 5 starting Tuesday, 6 August on BINGE, then Saturday, 10 August on Foxtel and Foxtel Now.

As for Taskmaster NZ Season 5, the following comedians have been confirmed to appear in the new season:

  • Abby Howells
  • Ben Hurley
  • Hayley Sproull

Including the new season, Taskmaster New Zealand has five seasons streaming exclusively on BINGE and Foxtel. The original version, Taskmaster UK and all of its 17 seasons, is also streaming on the aforementioned services.

Wondering what other shows to stream on BINGE and Foxtel? We’ve rounded up some of the latest releases you can watch, including new seasons of FBOY Island Australia, Industry, Colin from Accounts, Pretty Little Liars: Summer School, House of the Dragon, The Twelve, All American: Homecoming.
