Jennifer Lawrence’s series of comeback films continues with the R-rated comedy No Hard Feelings, which follows a woman in her 30s who’s hired to date an awkward, inexperienced 19-year-old boy.

Between losing her home and getting into a fake sort of romance with a boy, arranged by his own parents, keeping her house takes precedence over everything else. But what’s meant to be a quick side hustle ends up changing not only her life, but also the life of the young man she’s supposed to seduce.

What’s in this Guide?

After the digital release, we can expect the No Hard Feelings movie to become available on subscription.

As anticipated, it will stream on Foxtel, Foxtel Now, and BINGE, following in the footsteps of other Sony Pictures releases like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

Is No Hard Feelings on Netflix Australia?

While the movie has already debuted on Netflix in the US, it is yet to premiere on Netflix Australia.

In addition to Foxtel and BINGE, another alternative for streaming No Hard Feelings in Australia is Prime Video, which still offers a 30-day free trial.

Jennifer Lawrence’s new raunchy movie premiered in Australian theatres on 22 June. It was then released on digital on 29 August, allowing those who missed the film on the silver screen to watch it at home.

But when is the movie going to be available on subscription streaming in Australia? After months of waiting, the movie has been confirmed to premiere on paid streaming on 20 January, which you can watch on demand on Foxtel, Foxtel Now, and BINGE.

For No Hard Feelings streaming, Australia has the pay TV service Foxtel launching the film on Movies Premiere (check No Hard Feelings showtimes on Foxtel TV guide to plan your viewing). You’ll need to pick the Movies HD bundle to access movies channels on top of the standard entertainment bundle.

It’s a good thing Foxtel has ongoing deals that can save you in the long run with monthly discounts lasting up to 12 months. The Movies HD package also includes Foxtel Plus and its over 50 channels of entertainment, drama, reality, news, docos, and more.

You can also watch the movie when you sign up for Foxtel’s online streaming service, through Foxtel Now. The online platform offers a 10-day free trial and a special offer to access everything on its platform with monthly discounts, and there’s no lock-in contract so you can cancel anytime.

Another option to watch the Jennifer Lawrence-starrer movie is the streaming service BINGE. BINGE currently offers a free trial, so new customers can explore the service’s catalogue before signing up.

You can then choose from three streaming tiers to watch the best BINGE movies on demand.

A Basic with Ads plan allows you to stream in HD on one device. An ad-free Standard Plan enables you to enjoy high definition on two devices. The BINGE Premium Plan is the last alternative, allowing you to stream on up to four screens/devices in HD (and in 4K too on selected content).

All BINGE plans come with no lock-in contract.

Completely broke and about to lose the house she inherited from her mother, Maddie Barker (Lawrence) becomes desperate enough to take on a bizarre Craigslist posting.

The job? Dating the Princeton-bound Percy, who, according to his parents, is having a tough time coming out of his shell. Never mind weird, the job posting sounds preposterous, but turns out to be for real as she meets the boy’s parents, who promises her a Buick Regal in exchange.

However, despite her charm and hilarious persistence, Percy proves to be a challenge, mistaking her for a kidnapper when they first met. With her many attempts to seduce him backfiring every time, they instead begin to form a different kind of relationship: they got to know each other and became friends.

The 2023 comedy is directed by Gene Stupnitsky (Good Boys, Bad Teacher) from a script he co-wrote with John Phillips. Lead star Jennifer Lawrence also produced the film alongside Alex Saks, Naomi Odenkirk, Marc Provissiero, and Justine Ciarrocchi.
