NCIS Hawaii Season 3: TV release date and where to watch in Australia

Published On

April 28, 2024

With the new NCIS Sydney just concluding last December, fans of the NCIS franchise have something to look forward to watching this month with the return of NCIS Hawaii. The fourth series in the NCIS universe and a trailblazer at that for featuring the franchise’s first female lead, it stars Vanessa Lachey as Jane Tennant, the first female Special Agent in Charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor.

Delivering high-octane action and thrill against the backdrop of the Hawaiian shores, NCIS Hawaii is back for season 3, new episodes of which you can watch instantly using this guide.

Just like many other CBS shows, the new season will stream exclusively on Paramount+ in Australia.

New episodes might later launch on other streaming services, most likely Foxtel and BINGE, following in the footsteps of NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles (LL Cool J’s Sam Hanna is also featured in numerous episodes).

Crime dramas with procedural formats like NCIS Hawaii don’t rely on a specific narrative. Instead it offers a different plot in every episode involving the same main characters.

On this side of the NCIS globe, we’re introduced to Jane Tennant, played by Vanessa Lachey. As Special Agent in Charge of the NCIS Hawai’i Team, she has a big role to play in solving high-stakes cases and crushing biased expectations.

Tennant has risen through the ranks with her grit, confidence, and strategy despite being plunged into a system that is sometimes hesitant to recognise her invaluable skills. She works alongside her team of specialists to investigate high-profile crimes involving the military and matters of national security.

NCIS: Hawaii was created by Christopher Silber, Jan Nash, and Matt Bosack based on the original series by Donald P. Bellisario and Don McGill.

Here’s a glimpse of how riveting the new NCIS series is.

Starring Vanessa Lachey, the NCIS Hawaii cast also features the following cast members:

  • Alex Tarrant as Kai Holman
  • Noah Mills as Jesse Boone
  • Yasmine Al-Bustami as Lucy Tara
  • Jason Antoon as Ernie Malik
  • Tori Anderson as Kathrine Marie “Kate” Whistler
  • Kian Talan as Alex Tennant
  • Enver Gjokaj as Captain Joe Milius
  • Mahina Napoleon as Julie Tennant
  • Julie White as Maggie Shaw
  • Sharif Atkins as Captain Norman ‘Boom Boom’ Gates
  • Seana Kofoed as Commander (Dr.) Carla Chase
  • Anthony Ruivivar as Daniel Tennant
  • LL Cool J as Sam Hanna

There are three seasons so far with the latest third season just about to premiere in February 2024. Both seasons 1 and 2 are available for streaming on demand on Paramount+.
