Yes, BINGE has released the trailer for the new series right here:

The 2024 remake of Laid follows Ruby (Stephanie Hsu), who realises that all her former boyfriends are dying in bizarre ways.

To end the wickedly outrageous cycle, she “must go back through her sex timeline to confront her past”. Simply put, she must track down every ex to warm them about their impending doom. Only then will she be able to move forward and maybe stop every man she had a thing with before from dying.

In addition to Hsu, best known for her role in the film Everything Everywhere All At Once, Peacock’s remake of Laid features a dynamic cast that includes Zosia Mamet (Girls, The Flight Attendant), Michael Angarano (I’m Dying Up Here, This Is Us), and Tommy Martinez (Good Trouble, Hunters)

Created by Nahnatchka Khan and Sally Bradford McKenna, Laid (2024) is executive produced by Hsu, John Davis, John Fox, Jennifer Carreras, Marieke Hardy, Kirsty Fisher, and Liz Watts. The original Australian series, which starred Alison Bell, Celia Pacquola, and Abe Forsythe (who also directed with Trent O’Donnell), was created by Marieke Hardy and Kirsty Fisher and produced by Liz Watts.

US streaming service Peacock has been delivering awesome comedies as of late with the likes of Ted, Mr. Throwback, Based on a True Story, and many more becoming favourites in Australia.

One of the network’s latest offerings before 2024 ends is Laid, a comedy based on the Australian series of the same name that aired on ABC between 2011 and 2012.

In the original show, a market researcher named Roo sets out to find a way to break her curse and stop the men she had gone out with from dying. More importantly, she wants to stop the notion that’s something is very wrong with her.
