The story in this series is completely fictional and revolves around Larry David and his life in Los Angeles as a successful writer, much like his actual life. He lives with his wife Cheryl (Cheryl Hines) and is exceptionally close to his friend Jeff Greene, his manager.
The show further explores his life with his friends and acquaintances, often focusing on navigating awkward social situations by being self-aware. His stubbornness and his inability to keep his thoughts to himself often instigate conflicts, which, most times don’t bother him because he’s always “pretty, pretty, pretty good”. This hilarious show also stars Susie Essman as Susie Greene, Jeff Greene’s comical wife.
Its longevity is a testament to its unique humour as the sitcom will have you laughing your head off with its daring comedy and the self-deprecating depiction of Larry David.
