For Her Sins follows Laura Conroy (Joyner), a mother of two with a loving husband and successful legal career. Her seemingly perfect life is upended when she meets the beautiful and charismatic Emily (Shenton). Thrilled to find a new friend at her age, Laura finds herself opening up to Emily, putting her life on the line when it’s revealed that Emily is not who she says she is.

But Emily isn’t the only one hiding something; as more details of Laura’s past are revealed, it turns out she has a dark secret from a distant past that’s connected with that of Emily’s, connecting their lives and sharing a disturbing story. Desperate to bring back things to the way they were, Laura must find the truth about Emily before it’s too late.

This psychological thriller from Channel 5 was created by Jo Rogers. In addition to Joyner and Shenton, For Her Sins also stars Ann Mitchell (Widows), Jade-Marie Joseph, and Gerard Miller.
