PD James’ Adam Dalgliesh novels are not new to screen adaptations, having first graced the screens in the 1980s. The most recent to come out of television is Channel 5 and Acorn TV’s British crime drama Dalgliesh with Bertie Carvel portraying the titular character as he investigates bizarre crimes.

A published poet, his insight and sensitivity come in handy when going deeper into the scarier depths of the human mind, allowing for buried truths to unravel.

The series is coming to BritBox this month with all six episodes streaming at once.
