Jersey Shore became a reality TV phenomenon when it premiered in 2009, creating MTV’s “Shore” franchise, Geordie Shore being one of them, even becoming the longest-running version with over 20 seasons and counting.

Just like the original show, it follows a group of young people from Newcastle as they work during the day and party hard at night. And yes, they also live together. Every episode showcases their day-to-day with 8-12 housemates navigating friendship, romance, and a whole lot of partying!

In season 24, the gang is set to reunite after Marnie decides to invite everyone to her destination honeymoon in Cyprus. With twenty-one Geordies joining in on the fun, five children, and Holly’s baby on the way, it’s going to be a jam-packed season.

Fans can also expect surprise arrivals that will either make or break the entire holiday, including parents, partners, and even exes! From the looks of things, season 24 is just about to get heated. Don’t miss its new season premiere coming to your screens on 10 January.

Check out this promo for the show’s new season.

Geordie Shore’s cast for its twenty-fourth series is going to be star-studded with 21 Geordies joining.

The main cast of Geordie Shore includes the following:

  • Abbie Holborn
  • Chantelle Connolly
  • Charlotte Crosby
  • Chloe Ferry
  • Holly Hagan
  • James Tindale
  • Jay Gardner
  • Marnie Simpson
  • Nathan Henry
  • Sam Gowland
  • Sophie Kasaei
  • Ricci Guarnaccio

There are 24 seasons so far with the latest instalment airing from 10 January 2024. Every season of the hit show is exclusive to Paramount+ only with MTV being a subsidiary of Paramount Media Networks.

It’s worth noting that selected seasons of the show were available on Foxtel and Foxtel Now before; that is until MTV’s exit from the services along with Nickelodeon and Nick Jr.

If you’re a big fan of the show, you might want to try MTV’s other “Shore” series, including the original Jersey Shore. Other spin-offs are Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, All Star Shore, and more. There’s also an Australian iteration in the works titled Aussie Shore.
