How to watch Weird: The Al Yankovic Story in Australia

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe plays American musician “Weird Al” Yankovic in the biographical movie Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. But this isn’t your typical biopic. The film is actually a parody of more conventional biopics, which means you can easily expect for the wild and the outrageous. Now available on streaming TV, find out how you can watch the “Weird Al” movie online using this guide.

Directed by Eric Appel, this Weird Al movie explores every side of Yankovic’s life, from his rise to fame with early smash hits such as ‘Eat It’ and ‘Like a Surgeon’ to his torrid celebrity love affairs with the likes of Madonna. His famously depraved lifestyle, which becomes his undoing, is also vital to telling his story.

With its intent to deliver music and fun while not taking itself so seriously, The Al Yankovic Story spoofs the standard biopic formula with all the silliness it could muster, while still being clever and inventive. The biopic parody also makes for an extremely specific genre of music that makes it a must-see.
