The Blue Angels have been soaring high above us for nearly eight decades. As a tribute to America’s admirable Navy pilots, Top Gun: Maverick actor Glen Powell and notable filmmaker J. J. Abrams (The Rise of Skywalker) are bringing the documentary film of the same name to our screens in May.

Boasting unprecedented access, audiences will be taken to an aerial journey like never before, helmed by the Blue Angels themselves as they showcase their “precision flying” and “breathtaking manoeuvres” that have long established them as the world’s leading jet team.

The film will also delve into the men and women of the Navy and Marine Corps and how they’re chosen to become part of the squadron, from the meticulous selection process to the arduous training routine.

Filmed for IMAX, The Blue Angels movie will feature aerial shots and captivating footage that will make it a spectacular immersive experience for aviation fans in Australia.
