The second instalment of the “Tales” anthology series further explores the Galactic Empire and its ruthlessness through the eyes of the young Morgan Elsbeth and Barriss Offee, who, in his previous life, lived as a Jedi Padawan.

The former is a character driven by revenge after losing everything, the latter is someone who’s willing to do anything to survive. While their stories are set in different eras, both have to make hard choices as they navigate a rapidly changing galaxy that only gets more fearsome.

Star Wars: Tales was created by Dave Filoni, who also serves as supervising director. In addition to being the showrunner, he executive produced the series with Athena Yvette Portillo and Carrie Beck. Alex Spotswood and Josh Rimes are credited as producers.

Star Wars: Tales of the Empire arrives May 4, 2024, on Disney+. Check out the trailer below to get a glimpse of what’s about to come.

While Tales of the Jedi delved into the origins of Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku, the new Tales of the Empire will explore stories belonging to Nightsister Morgan Elsbeth and former Jedi Barriss Offee. The characters will be voiced by Diana Lee Inosanto and Meredith Salenger, respectively.

You can find the complete voice cast of the new Star Wars series below:

  • Jason Isaacs as Grand Inquisitor
  • Meredith Salenger as Barriss Offee
  • Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth
  • Lars Mikkelsen as Thrawn
  • Rya Kihlstedt as Lyn aka Fourth Sister

  • Wing T. Chao as Wing

The launch of Disney+ only expanded the Star Wars universe with several originals created exclusively for the streamer. In addition to Tales of the Empire, you can also watch many other Star Wars content that include Tales of the Jedi, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Star Wars: Visions, The Clone Wars, Young Jedi Adventures, Ahsoka, Andor, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
