In the cinematic world of Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles was introduced as Dr. Robotnik’s ally after the latter escaped from the Mushroom Planet. The anthropomorphic echidna eventually recognised Dr. Robotnik’s scheming ways, leading him to team up with Sonic.

Now ready to have adventures of his own, the Knuckles series will have the echidna warrior forging his own path on Earth. What better way to do that than train an unlikely hero, deputy sheriff Wade Whipple to be specific, the ways of the warrior.

Knuckles TV series is created by John Whittington and Toby Ascher, who also executive produce the series alongside lead star Idris Elba, John Whittington, Jeff Fowler, Neal H. Moritz, and Toru Nakahara.
